Plenty of pickup, and my 'scooter test hill' didn't faze her a bit. Easy to ride with a choice of 'range' or 'power. Also, the best most comprehensive manual I've ever read - gives all safety warnings driving tips, adjustments necessary etc - with this manual someone who has never even seen a scooter could ride and take care of this one. Looks and feels like an good commuter.
